Registration & Payment Policies

Registration Packet must be completely filled out and submitted and FACTs account must be created to be considered registered. If all paperwork is not submitted by the Wednesday before your child’s first day, your child will not be able to attend on that Monday.

Each week must be paid in full by the Friday before your child starts that week. If not, your child will not be able to attend.

Payments can be made through FACTs, via check or cash.

For Whole Summer and Multi-Week Registrations, payment plans are available to be spread out January – August as necessary. Balances must be paid before the child’s last day of camp for the season.

Inclement Weather Policy

For minor changes in weather (hotter days, light rain), camp activities and schedule will be adjusted accordingly. Extra shade, extra shelter, and/or increase water consumption will be made available

In the event of extreme weather (storms or heat), the camp will notify via email if camp will be closed. In the event of extreme weather causing the need for early dismissal, the camp will notify via email and calls.

Discipline and Dismissal Policy

Elevation camp strives for a positive atmosphere where children can learn more about God, experience His great love for us, and have fun. Children are not perfect and we are here to help guide children to behave in acceptable ways. In summary, we provide General Redirects and we implement a Counting Technique where campers are given two opportunities to make better choices before earning a Break from activities.

However, if a child is repeatedly interfering with the enjoyment and/or safety of others and is not responding to redirections, conversations, breaks, or other such consequences the director will reserve the right to suspend or dismiss a child from Elevation Camp. Dismissal from camp is only for the current season and the child’s attendance for future seasons may be revisited. The Hands Off Policy indicates that we do not tolerate inappropriate or unsafe physical contact. For a full description of our discipline policy, please refer to the Camp Handbook.

Attire & Swimming Policy

We practice and promote modesty for all campers and counselors. All campers and counselors should feel comfortable and appropriate. No one should worry about what they or others are wearing.

We teach that God created us, each special and unique. We must honor our bodies and learn that beauty comes from within, not our outward appearance.

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment… Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 3:3-4

Regular: Sneakers, t-shirts, and shorts are best for the daily activities at camp. Shorts for all must reach at least halfway down the thigh. Clothing with explicit images and language, inappropriate references, and content contrary to what is taught in the Bible will not be allowed to be worn.

Swimming: Non-white t-shirts, swim shirts, & rash guards are acceptable, as long as the midriff (stomach) is covered. For some smaller girls, shorts may also be needed.

If a camper is not wearing appropriate attire for the day or for swimming, they will be given a loaned shirt if available the first time. If a camper continues to come without the proper attire, parents will be called to bring appropriate clothes/swim clothes. Otherwise the camper may not be able to participate in certain activities or a purchase of a t-shirt will be needed.

Communication Procedures

Typical reminders or communications will be through email. For emails received after Fridays at 3PM, expect a reply by Monday afternoon. For more urgent matters, phone calls will be utilized. If indicated in your registration packet, text messages may also be utilized.

Communication regarding payment and registration should be exclusively through email.

Communication regarding incidents, accidents, and the like, should be through email. However, calls and texts may be utilized depending on level of concern.
