Camper FAQ

FAQ for Campers

Frequently asked questions are listed questions and answers.

What should I bring to camp?

Camper Checklist:

  • A modest bathing suit

    • For girls - 1 piece with a t-shirt

    • For boys - trunks and a t-shirt

  • Towel

  • Flip-flops or water shoes

  • Sunscreen

  • Water bottle

All items should be labeled with your camper's first and last name.

Please be sure to apply sunscreen before you bring your child to camp each day.  We will have campers reapply as needed.

All campers must wear sneakers.  No other footwear is allowed for safety reasons.  If campers arrive with other footwear, we will call you to bring sneakers to them.

Do not bring any electronics or devices!  If a camper must bring a cell phone, it must stay in their backpack and stay switched off during the camp day.  If you need to communicate with your camper call the main camp number at:  203-427-8120.  We are not responsible for any damaged or lost electronics and devices brought to camp.

What if I don't know anyone?

No worries! Elevation Camp is a place where we can feel comfortable trying new things and making new friends. We encourage positive relationship building through our awesome weeks of camp activities. By the end of camp, you'll have new friendships with other campers and develop your faith friendship with God!

FAQ for Parents

Frequently asked questions are listed questions and answers.

Will lunch be served?

Yes, daily lunch is included in the cost of camp and served from our on-site cafeteria.  A menu will be provide for the week so you will know what to expect. If your child chooses to bring their own lunch, it should be labeled with their name (no items that need to be heated).  We are a nut free facility, so please keep that in mind if you choose to send a lunch with your child.  Also, we are unable to provide a cafeteria lunch for gluten or dairy free restrictions, so if your child requires a certain diet, please plan to pack him/her a lunch.

Afternoon snack will be available for purchase.  You can give your child money each day or you can set up an account for them at the Snack Bank.  Set up for this account will take place on Monday each week or via our online portal.  Of course, you can send a snack each day if you choose.
